Today, our country is again called to provide extraordinary leadership. This century's threats and terrorism are at least as dangerous as, and in many ways more complex than, those we have confronted in the past. They come from weapons that kill on a mass scale to violent extremists who exploit alienation and perceived injustice to spread their fear & terror. They come from rogue states allied to terrorists and from rising powers that could challenge both America and the international foundation of democracy. They come from weak states that cannot control their territory or provide for their people. They come from a dependence and addiction to oil that helps fuel and fund the extremism we must fight and empowers repressive regimes.
We will continue to confront these threats head on while working closely with our allies to bring peace and stability to our neighbors throughout the world. We will pursue a tough, smart, quick reacting and principled national security strategy. It will be our strategy to first focus our efforts on securing or own borders and citizens from foreign & domestic terrorist incursions here at home. It will be our strategy to focus our efforts on the terrorists who did strike us or intend to do so in the future.
It is a strategy that will have to contend with many disparate forces shaping this century and the Globe, including: the fundamentalist challenge to freedom and democracy; the emergence of new powers like China, India, Russia, and a united Europe; the spread of lethal weapons in the hands of rouge countries like Iran and North Korea; uncertain supplies of energy, food, and water; the persistence of poverty throughout the world and the growing gap between rich and poor; and extraordinary new technologies that send people, ideas, and money across the globe at ever increasing speeds.
Our best strategy and defense against these potential threats is a strong offense. So it will remain our policy to insure our military has the necessary funding to develop, acquire and maintain the best equipment, technology and defense systems for maintaining our military strength and position of a super power while giving our young service men and women the best protection and tools to successfully process any conflict. Of course our strategy of armed conflict will be our option of last resort.
Both Obama and his sidekick Joe Biden are totally delusional when suggesting more strict gun laws will better control ISIS and homeland terror killings. It is this thought process or should I say lack of thought, that possess the greatest threat to National Security and the lives of all Americans. They NEVER should have been elected and let's not elect their surrogate Hillary Clinton.
Please take the time to read this article from Dick Morris posted on The Hill. Should the plans of the Obama administration come to fruition, America's Sovereignty will be turned over to the United Nations leaving American citizens as subjects of a Global Ruling Body. These actions by Obama are extremely illegal and highly unconstitutional if not high treason!
Dick Morris: Obama’s sneaky treaties
By Dick Morris - 02/07/12 07:53 PM ET
President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are entering negotiations over — or seeking ratification of — five treaties that could radically limit our national sovereignty…
Newly elected Congressmen Lt. Colonel Allen West (R) of Florida pulls no punches as he lays out his position straight on the line regarding terrorism, Obama's refusal to face the facts and weak position on fighting radical Islamic Muslims. Finally, someone who speaks his mind the truth and knows how to clearly define the situation without the DC spin.
We need to elect more people to office like Allen West.
Once again, in what now appears to be a never ending display of ignorance combined with naïveté , President Obama's nuclear policy shows he is as much a threat to our National Security as a foreign enemy.
One thing you never, never, ever do, is tell a potential enemy what you will or will not do to defend yourself or your family, NEVER. Every president of the United States clearly understood this basic principle and there are a multitude of reasons why a President would not do so, which Obama fails to understand. What Obama has done, in…
Our safety and our liberty depends upon preserving the Constitution of the United States as our fathers made it inviolate. The people of the United States are the rightful masters of both Congress and the Courts, not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who would pervert the Constitution.” ~ President Abraham Lincoln
President Lincoln clearly understood the purpose and meaning of our Constitution. Our constitution is the very underpinnings of our culture, way of life and the embodiment of our unalienable rights to Life, liberty and the pursuit of Property and Happiness.
“Our safety and our liberty depends upon preserving the Constitution of the United States as our fathers made it inviolate. The people of the United States are the rightful masters of both Congress and the Courts, not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who would pervert the Constitution.”
There is not much more that can be added or more clearly stated as to our sovereign, unalienable right than the above words of Mr. Lincoln. Both the Progressive Democrats and Republican lawmakers are destroying our country and putting our safety and liberties…
Every democratic civilization since the beginning of recorded time has deteriorated into either a socialistic or communistic society or self-destructed into a society in bondage because its people failed to keep their governments and leaders in check.
When government goes without a system of checks and balances, enforced by the populous, its appointed officials are left to become delirious with power over its people and corrupted by their quest to amass untold money in furthering their personal agendas. Ultimately this will only lead to Tyrannical rule and suffrage of its people.
Our Founders took painstaking effort with many years of deliberation and debate in structuring a…
